View Full Version : Dealing with bookings from a third party

Just wondering if there is any other CGM users who take reservations from third partys(ie Visitor centre) and how they handle them in the system. We do but don't get paid (up to a month later)for the reservation until after the guests have stayed and left so Im not sure how to deal with it on the rack - or if I should just leave it as a checked in, not paid transaction and a note to say why until we receive payment. Normally if you haven't paid you don't get the keys!! Any one have any suggestions?

From the customer's perspective it's been paid (I presume), it's just that their payment is delayed to you (like credit cards but for much longer). So I would enter the payment as usual, but add a special Payment Method for it so you can track these payments separately in reports.

If you want to flag them somehow you could go back into Reservation Details and uncheck the Paid Thru date until you do receiev payment, that way they show up on the Payments Due report.
