PCI Compliance
We are having a problem with PCI compliance. Since we "store credit card numbers electronically" we have to comply with level D. Everyone who uses Campground Master should have the same issue. The compliance is a huge job; the person I spoke with yesterday asked me how big my PCI compliance team was. I laughed and told him it was just me and that I'm also a certified Class A water operator, pool technician, reservation specialist and payroll provider.....
Is everyone doing this? Any advice internal scans, etc would be appreciated.
I asked why we have to do this since Stan has already made Campground Master PCI compliant and the X-Charge software must be compliant....
Thanks, Kathy

I have wondered this too, although I haven't been called on it.

Credit Card Processor
Cheryl,
Do your credit card transactions go through CM? What processor do you use?
Thanks, Kathy

pci compliance
Actually no, I do not process through CGM. I have my own account. But I do enter cc numbers into CGM to be used for cancellation fees, etc, so the PCI compliance issues still apply.

PCI Compliance
When I called the 'help desk', I was told to hire a network specialist. Like I can afford that! This is just another example to government regulations making it nearly impossible for small businesses to do business. I'm considering just not accepting credit cards anymore. If I do find some answers, I will definitely post them.

Makes you wonder how anyone makes it these days with all the garbage the government throws at us. *sigh*
