Cancelation Confirmation

Would it be possible to setup an email cancelation confirmation also, That way we could email that we are canceling the site and list the cancelation policy, along with the information about the refund

I can't say that this is something that would be implemented soon, since it's not a common request, but you could create an E-mail cancellation letter using the Advanced Customizations for Forms, though (starting with the imported sample for E-mail confirmations). This is usually something that people have to hire us to do (free support doesn't include the Advanced Customizations), but you can try to create one yourself if you like. See:

I agree, an email cancellation is something we would really use quite often!

We too would use an email cancelation confirmation often.

We would also use the email cancellation confirmation if it was available. We have used CM for the 2009 season and would recommend.

YES! we would also use this. Currently I use the confirmation, and just add in big bold letters at the top... THIS RESERVATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED! followed by the cancellation fee, etc.

Provided us with the information necessary to create the additional e-mail forms such as confirmations, cancellations etc. The e-mail tab was converted to a pulldown menu which offers the operator several options to select from. So instead of typing a cancellation or other e-mail. The drop down covers any situtation. But the only problem is once an e-mail other than a confirmation is selected the next person MUST ensure the confirmation e-mail is selected. Since the e-mail will not default to a confirmation from a cancellation. Maybe Stan can help us with this one.

Thanks for the note. Yes it remembers the last one used as the default. Potentially we could add an option to default to a specific E-mail, but we're going to be making quite a few enhancements to this soon (supporting E-mails for various occasions), and that will have defaults for each occasion.

Currently I use the "Confirmation" email and manually change the words "Confirmation" to "Cancellation".
Although relatively easy to do, it is an inconvenience, and much of the wording also has to be changed, deposit information removed, etc.

YES, a specific "Cancellation" email would be WONDERFUL and should NOT require consultation fees in order to acquire.
We all have cancellations that we have to deal with, why should we not have a means to efficiently deal with them, and campers desire proof of cancellations, particularly when they involve refunds or partial refunds.
