We haven't seen that problem before, so I don't know what could be causing it.
Are you clicking one one of the options when you get the alert? Or does it seem locked up before you can even do that?
Maybe we could tell something if you send us the database and logs:
Go to Help / E-mail database & logs to support.
Check "Include the current database".
Check "Include log files...", and enter 10 days (or at least long enough to cover a couple times that happened).
Click Send.
