Thread: Operator log-in log

    Question Operator log-in log

Is it possible to see when a user logs in and out? We're wanting to track office hours and thought maybe if we could see when our users log in/out it might be a useful tool.

You can track operator(user) logins along with other events with the Audit Trail feature.

I understand the audit trail function, I use it frequently, but thought it only applied to actions taken in reservations, transactions, etc. It would not show when a user logged in or out. It would show when a user took an action on a specific record, but would not show when a user logged into the system.

    Am I missing something?

In the Audit trail, under the TYPE column, it will show "Log In", "Log Out". Make sure to activate/check either the "Show Operator name" or "Show Workstation ID" to get more detail of the operator Log In/Log Out time.
