This dialog shows the text message you're about to send, and allows you to modify the various details beforehand. It can be invoked from various places:
•From Customer Details, by clicking the blue link (label) next to one of the 3 phone number fields (opens a blank text message to send your own message).
•From Transactions, after going through "Send Text Form" and clicking OK to send, if Preview is selected.
•From Point of Sale (POS Sales entry), after going through "Send Text Receipt" and clicking OK to send, if Preview is selected.
•From Reservation Details or Customer Details, after going through "Text Msg...", and clicking OK to send, if Preview is selected.
•From any of the various Batch Texting functions, if Preview is selected.
Of course before this can appear, you will have to perform the Messaging Service Setup so Campground Master can send text messages.
To Phone #
An empty phone number field will appear if is was not opened from a dialog where the Customer is known (e.g. Point of Sale, Unbound Transactions), or if the customer does not have any phone numbers "Opted in" (assuming the operator has permissions to send a text to a manually entered number). You can enter the number without the country code, unless it's going to a different country than the default country code defined in Messaging Service Setup. You can include the "+" sign or other punctuation, but it's not necessary -- only the digits will be used.
If the customer is known and has one or more "Opted in" phone numbers, then those numbers will be shown with check boxes next to them (already checked). If more than one is shown, you can uncheck one or more of them that you don't want to send to.
Message
This area is where you put the message to be sent. If not using the free-form entry, it will already be filled in with the resulting text generated from the selected Form. You may edit it before sending if you prefer.
