Certain "Alerts" can be generated by Campground Master, generally due to something happening behind the scenes rather than as a result of direct user action. For instance, the Hercules 2-way communications will alert the operator of something new received or of any issues that need to be addressed.
Alerts can also result when a problem with network synchronization is detected. If this particular type of alert needs to be disabled, then you can do so through the Network Setup / Diagnostics tab.
To keep annoyances to a minimum, an Alert will only appear after the operator is finished a current function (closed all dialogs) -- it won't appear in the middle of working on a dialog.
