Q: Is there a way to know if a confirmation E-mail has been sent to a customer?
A: If you want to have your sent E-mails show up in your regular E-mail program, we recommend that you put in a "BCC" address (e.g. your own E-mail address) so that you get a copy of each E-mail sent. This is configured under Maintenance / E-mail Setup / SMTP Setup (or in older versions, Maintenance / Park Setup / SMTP Setup). However you can also find a record of all E-mails sent through the Audit Trail (View / Audit Trail, or better yet from a customer's Reservation Details, use the Audit Trail button at the bottom). You can filter it to show only E-mails sent.
