Version 11.5 betaRelease Notes |
Top Next |
These release notes list all changes since the version 11.4 release.
To upgrade to this release, you only need to install it over your current version. There is no need to uninstall the previous version. Any previous versions will be upgraded automatically -- you do not need to install previous upgrades before this one, and all of your data and settings will be retained. It will make some automatic changes to your database to bring it up to date, so there may be a slightly longer delay the first time you open it.
Upgrades License Expiration Note: To use this version, your free-upgrades license must be current through 10 / 2024 (October 2024). To check your free-upgrades license expiration date, go to View / Product Authorizations and check the "Upgrades free through" date.
Networking Note: Be sure that all workstations are upgraded at the same time (shut down all workstations, upgrade all of them, then restart them one by one starting with the master workstation).
Previous Versions Note: You will not be able to go back to using your database with a previous version of Campground Master earlier than 11.0 once you start using this version. You WILL be able to go back to 11.0 through 11.4 releases, but will get an initial warning about opening a database from a newer version. It will work, and you won't lose anything that's not part of the new functions in version 11.5.
Major changes:
•Added support for Microsoft OAUTH2 authentication for Outlook and Office 365 (Microsoft 365) accounts. See here for Microsoft OAUTH2 setup.
•Allow multiple Tab Views of the same type, and they can have different settings and site filters (saved for each tab). For instance you can have separate Racks for RV sites vs Cabins, separate On Site reports showing different fields, etc.
•Added new Reports (under the Reports menu) for Customer and Reservation Phone Lists (and eventually used for batch texting).
Major changes added in Beta 4:
•SMS texting functions implemented and documented. These changes affect many areas, detailed in a separate section.
General Changes:
•POS Inventory items -- added option to "Hide Inactive Items" in the Inventory item setup list
•CC refunds -- show a warning if the refund will probably fail because it exceeds the referenced payment amount. Added an Access Level setting to allow skipping it (the default is to skip for nobody) "CC Refunds - Skip warning when the refund exceeds payment amount"
•Network functions -- Renamed "Synchronize local options to all workstations" to "Synchronize all local.... " (add "all")
•Network functions -- Added function "Synchronize current Tab View options to all workstations" (just does the current tab view settings to sync them up)
•Added option (Program Options / Formats) for whether to automatically format phone # to (xxx) xxx-xxxx format (defaults on like now, but can be turned off e.g. for other countries)
•Added settings for Minimum and Maximum number of digits in phone numbers (Program Options / Formats), primarily to be used for validating numbers in the new Phone List reports.
General changes added in Beta 4:
•Added "Date Made" and "Time Made" field options to the Unassigned tab view
Bug Fixes:
•Fixed -- Guest reservations on unassigned sites were not being assigned when the master site was assigned.
•Fixed -- Auto-printed receipts for Unbound Transactions were using the Reservations receipt default format -- fixed to use the Unbound receipt default
•Fixed Select Rates / Check Rates to show the correct Taxes amount when a Rate has separate Tax lines instead of just auto-tax
•Fixed a Monthly billing issue that was charging old sub-members that didn't have charged-thru date correct, even if they were checked out already.
Fixed in Beta 4:
•Fixed bug in Retrieve Online Reservations that was causing a crash when selecting a site.
