This is accessed through Maintenance / Online Reservations / Reservation Friend / Reservation Friend Setup, Parsing tab, and click the Unit Types values mapping button.
The reservation data from Friend includes a "Unit Type" value, with several different possible values (shown in a list here under "Friend ID"). In Campground Master you have a "Rig type" field that needs to be set accordingly, but your values might be different. The possible Rig type values in Campground Master are defined in the Rig Types Pick List, which you can modify if desired (see Maintenance / Pick Lists / Rig Types). However it's not necessary to create matching the values in the pick list, since you can use this mapping function to convert the Friend values to Campground Master values.
The process is as follows:
1. Select (highlight) a Friend ID to map in the left-hand list. (The numeric value is shown next to the name only for reference, and is not important.)
2. Select the corresponding type from the Rig Type Value drop-down list.
3. Click Add Mapping. The details of the mapped value will appear in the bottom list.
4. Repeat for all ID's/values that might be selected on Friend, then click Save.
Note that there is no need to map Unit Types if they do not apply or would never be used on Friend. For instance if you don't have a marina, there's no need to map the "Sailboat" value.
Mapping Notes
You can map multiple Friend ID's to the same Rig Type if needed.
If you need to change a mapping, select it from the bottom list and click Delete/Edit. It will be removed from the bottom list, but it will also be selected automatically in the lists above, so all you have to do is make any changes needed and click Add Mapping again.
